Several special events throughout the year give SCL alumni the opportunity to stay connected with their alma mater. We hope you’ll join us to cheer on the Crusaders at homecoming, lift your spirits at the annual Christmas Concert, and take part in the Golf Classic, SCL Gala and Veterans Day. Class reunions are a great way to stay connected with former classmates.
Join in the excitement of homecoming with other alumni and friends of St. Croix Lutheran. The festivities always begin with a parade at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity football game at 7:00 p.m.
All St. Croix Lutheran alumni who attend the game receive free admission and are entered into a drawing to win Crusader spirit wear! Look for us under the Alumni Tent (just before the ticket table) to sign in and receive your free admission. Last year's graduating class can pick up their yearbooks at the Alumni Tent that night, or in the front office during school hours. Select St. Croix Lutheran Spirit Wear, including Throwback Jerseys, car magnets, and “Future Crusader” onesies, will be available for a suggested donation at the Alumni Tent.
Alumni Band Members!
Relive the glory days and play pregame and half-time music with the Crusader Pep Band. A mini-rehearsal will be held that day at 3:30 p.m. to run through some songs and talk through some details with the Crusader Band. Join the Crusader Band for a pizza party after the parade and before we head to the stands to play some great music. If you have any questions please contact band director, John Fenske at JFenske@StCroixLutheran.org or 651-455-1521 ext.187.
SCL’s Christmas concert is its oldest and one of its finest traditions. SCL Croixaliers, choirs, and instrumentalists come together to celebrate the birth of Christ. Let the lights, decorations, and sounds of the season lift your spirits!
Each year, hundreds of St. Croix Lutheran supporters come together to celebrate what God has done through SCL with a catered dinner and silent and live auctions. Many “giving hearts” result in significant revenue which is utilized for special projects and financial assistance for students. With grateful hearts, we thank all our attendees, volunteers, business, sponsors, and all who donated auction items, money, and time.
Join us for the annual St. Croix Lutheran Golf Classic for a day of fun reconnecting with old friends and classmates. The Dick Hadlich Memorial Alumni Challenge Trophy is awarded to the graduating class with the most golfers in the tournament. Invite your classmates to join the fun!
Students and staff of St. Croix Lutheran invite you to join us for our annual Veterans Day Program honoring all who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The day begins at 8:45 a.m. with registration and refreshments, continues with a special chapel service at 9:30 a.m., and concludes with a ceremony in the gymnasium at 10:05 a.m. The program features music by Crusader choirs and band. See more details and register at www.StCroixLutheran.org/Veterans.

All 60s Class Reunion
On August 12, 2016, SCL welcomed back the classes of 1962-1969 for an All 60s Class Reunion held at St. Croix Lutheran. These classes represent the founding generation of SCL as the school’s first graduates. 82 guests attended the event, including 56 alumni and former students of SCL. Attendees came from as far as California and Florida to reunite with former classmates. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by our dormitory chef, heard an update on SCL from President Todd Russ, and toured the school and new dormitory. Individual classes continued reminiscing and catching up at classmates’ homes after the reunion. Many generous alumni gave donations above the cost of registration, which was directed to the Next Generation annual campaign to support current students. Photos from the event are posted on the St. Croix Lutheran Facebook page, and more photos can be viewed on the All 60s Reunion Google album.
Class of 1971 - 45 Year Reunion
The class of 1971 held their 45-year reunion at the home of Karen Collyard in Minneapolis on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Sixteen people attended including 11 graduates from the class of 1971 and 2 others from the class of 1970 and 1972. Pastor William Staab, class advisor for the class of '71 and his wife were also present. He shared copies of his recent book, Not For Glory. All attendees live in Minnesota, and during the reunion day, phone calls were received from two other graduates who reside out-of-state. The class of 1971 also made a contribution to SCL's Next Generation annual campaign with excess funds collected from the reunion.
Class of 1996 - 20 Year Reunion
