Friday, November 3: St. Croix Lutheran Academy senior Audrey Gadison will sign her letter of intent to play D1 women’s basketball for the Air Force Academy on Wednesday, November 8, 3:20 p.m. in the SCL library.
“We congratulate Audrey for meeting her academic and athletic goals, and we look forward to cheering her on as she wears blue for the Air Force Academy Falcons.” said St. Croix Lutheran head girls basketball coach David Mielke.
Audrey exemplifies a well-rounded student at St. Croix Lutheran. She was listed on the A Honor Roll for the past six semesters with an overall 3.89GPA. In 2017, she was invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Form on Medicine(NYLF-Med) at Texas A&M. She has also received invitations to attend the Naval Academy STEM Program and was selected for the National Academy of Future Physicians & Medical Scientist Award of Excellence.
Athletically, she has been invited to the Nike 2016 Basketball Camp and ten other elite national level camps as well as the 2016 USA U17 National Team Trials. She is a three-time 1st Team All Tri-Metro athlete and has led SCL to three Tri Metro championships. She is the school leader in three-point shots made and attempted in a single season, and the second leading scorer in school history.
